I've been intrigued with opium ever since I first read Coleridge's opium-inspired poem with the famous first line: "In Xanadu did Kubla Khan a stately pleasure-dome decree." I figured if an early-19th-century English poet could smoke a bit of opium and have dreams like that, then I'd like to try it myself. I've always heard the aroma of burning opium is pleasantly aromatic and flower-like. I'd love to experience it first-hand.
I've also read of many amateur botanists, particularly in northern California and the American Northwest, who grow papaver somniferum plants to harvest the raw opium. I wonder if any of these poppy farmers are on Silk Road, and if they might have available some of the black gummy balls which have all those wonderful dreams inside them. If they offered some for sale, I bet they could move all they had.

Thanks for the pointer. I followed the profile and noticed brownbud had several 5/5's, but also one 1/5, which carried the notation "Fake shit". Ouch. Looks like that might be the kiss of death.

I'd be curious to try it again also. I have only seen opium once in my life and bought some. I was young back then and really had no idea how to smoke it so like a dumbass, I put it in my pipe and smoked it. It basically melted and went straight down inside the pipe. I only got a couple of hits before it was all melted but that stuff tasted so amazing. Its something I still havent forgotten till this day. I was pretty high also but I dont think I got the real effect since I didnt smoke it right and then smoked herb after. I know for about a month though everytime I smoked herb out that pipe. It always had that opium flavor to it lol which was great.

I've been looking for Opium for quite some time now. The vast majority of the opium intended for distribution in the US is converted into heroin, so it's logical that it's scarce.
Be that as it may, anybody who can prove to be a legitimate source for this product can have a monopoly....

At one time, in another place, I had access to pure heroin sold in little plastic vials, and also opium. After doing the heroin a few times, then getting the opium, none of us much liked the opium. I got all 1/2 asleep and dreamy on opium, but the heroin was *way* better...still is...

I tried opium in the mid 90's and bloody loved it,i thought the guy had sold me some squidgy black canabis at first till he explained what it was lol..Don't know where to get it but if anyone's brave enough(or stupid enough) Macfarlene pharma or make UK's Morphine have several opium fields in the UK and are looking for more :P The only one i know is in Didsbury (??) where the power plant is? I'll have to check that again,look on Macfarlenes website,i've heard there's zero security around the fields so it's a possible i think ::)

I've actually just today got a little 1g sample of Opium from a friend. Its hands down the best opiate I've ever tried. In my opinion its much more clear and enjoyable than brown H actually. I see here might be a great demand for this stuff, so i will talk to my friend tomorrow, and if its a stable source i will make a listing.

To each his own...I think I was all prepped to really like opium...all the books, the poems, the opium parlors I'd read about...it just seemed like tapping into some ancient ritual or something...but after doing it, smoking it repeatedly I understood why it is refined into morphine and then into heroin...the reality of opium itself just wasn't all that good...but I"m sure it'll sell, and yeah, if it were legal, I'd be down there smoking it...but otherwise, not for me...I know people who grow it...that makes sense...

I've actually just today got a little 1g sample of Opium from a friend. Its hands down the best opiate I've ever tried. In my opinion its much more clear and enjoyable than brown H actually. I see here might be a great demand for this stuff, so i will talk to my friend tomorrow, and if its a stable source i will make a listing.

keeping my fingers crossed on that one, seen some on ovd but dont like going outside the SR escrow system if i can avoid it at all. i did notice a few days ago that a lot of the scrap land around here had been sown with various seeds, now that they have come up i spotted a few opium poppies in the mix, so like the scab i am i picked a load (hey if mother nature is handing out free drugs who am i to say no) got them home and scored the pods and wiped the white latex on a rizla and let it dry, it looked awful, but i skinned it up and it certainly had more punch than a regular bifter would have but wasnt very long lived, although that was probably down to my basically knowing nothing about how it should be done properly

I've done the same...only to find I was trying to smoke iris sap or something. A lot of flowers have pods, but judging from your testing it was the real thing.
As far as your potential source, or any potential source, it seems to me the little black balls would sell like gangbusters. Even if opium doesn't hit like H, I think a lot of folks would say that's just fine since they're looking for a mild dreamy/sleepy experience. Since it is not often encountered, at least in the West, potential buyers would probably need some education about various doses (for opioid tolerant vs non-tolerant, and light load vs. hammer dose, etc. Who knows? You might be in position to become what appears to be the first SR purveyor of The Big O. Historic.

Has anybody found a good source for this stuff yet? I've been keeping my eyes peeled for quite a while now and haven't been able to get a hold of anything. Would definitely be interested in both "personal use" and larger quantities if quality is up to par.

in the USA it's motherfucking illegal to have seeds for true opium poppies
Here's to those in the unknown: poppy seeds used for baking are from P. somniferum. Technically it's also illegal here in Germany to have seeds yet just go to a grocer and buy half a pound of 'blue poppy' designated for baking. Throw it on some soil: presto poppy field. And poppies are quite resiliant. Only way to eradicate that field is to plow it.
Anyways: I could provide opium made from pod pulp and purified afterwards. It's definitely not on par with true opium made in Afghanistan and the likes but it definitely packs a punch.

I too would certainly snatch up real opium if it was ever made available on here. I last had some in 03 and it was truly amazing. Why are all the good drugs so scarce?

About the 'Fake Shit' remark in my profile, I have no comments. He neither contacted me for reshipping nor for refund. He probably don't know what opium is. If I had shipped 'fake shit', wouldn't it be logical for him to send me a message at least or ask for a refund, which I would have gladly given?
It is easier to find real opium here than to find 'fake shit'. Old country opium is relatively weak. Don't expect it to give you the same jolt as a CC of morphine. The same is true for Indian strains of weed too.

I'm UK, only time I tried opium it was proper, double boiled, not raw and brought in by Iranians. This was smokable opium. We smoked/vaped it through a bong, hot knifing it with a thin screwdriver heated red hot on the cooker. Is anyone here able to get processed, smokable opium?

soon as i can mine up the last 0.5btc i need (i have 2.18 actually but i owe a friend 0.4 :( ) ill be ordering 2g of BBs stuff to see how it goes, as long as it doesnt run out before then that is. ive been thinking about the how of vaporizing too, i have a temperature controlled soldering iron that may be easily moddable into some sort of diy vape, i know i could just do it the easy way and get a pipe or whatever but wheres the fun in that?
